Rev. Mac Enfinger comes to us having an exceptional career in the business world. Following being part of founding two very successful specialty chemical companies and working in the financial industry, Mac received his call to full time ministry. During Mac’s time in seminary, he became certified as a Chaplain working for Northside, Scottish Rite & St. Joseph Hospitals; specializing in Oncology, Strokes, as well as working with the Adoption and Addiction centers.
Mac graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Business Administration, and earned his Masters of Divinity Degree from Emory University Candler School of Theology.
Mac was born in Dothan, AL, and grew up across the border in the rural South Georgia town of Blakely, GA, where his mother still resides; his dad is deceased. He has one brother in Americus, GA.
Mac is married to Amy, a lifelong United Methodist of Paoli, IN, where her parents still reside. She came to Georgia to attend the AIU where she degreed in Interior Design. They have two children, Trey (29) and Erinn (28). Trey is married to Brittany, lives in Evans, GA, attends Wesley UMC where he is on staff as sound and light engineer. He works as a manager of franchises with Jani King Commercial Cleaners in Augusta, Brittany is an Oncology nurse at MCG. Erinn is also a UGA graduate, lives in downtown Atlanta, and is a pharmaceutical representative to Veterinarian Clinics for Merial. She attends Buckhead Church and leads a women’s small group.
Mac and Amy have been married for 20 years, were members of Hillside UMC Woodstock, GA prior to entering full-time ministry, served at Dalton First, Wesley, and most recently, Royston First
Rev. Stephanie Caldwell is the Pastor of Spiritual Formation. Originally from Columbus, GA, Stephanie received her Master’s in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and became an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2003. She has served churches in Fayetteville, NC and Columbus, GA. She was also the guest speaker at conferences and retreats around the country while her husband was in the military. She is passionate about teaching God’s Word and serving Christ’s Church!
Cathy Malone purchased a lake place on Lake Sinclair in 1997 as a weekend getaway. In 2002, she permanently moved to Lake Sinclair. After 34 years of employment with the State of Georgia, she retired in 2010. Once she retried, Cathy became a regular volunteer here at the church. In 2015, she became the interim Administrative Assistant and then she became permanent in the position in January 2016.
Cay Quattlebaum is the financial manager and building supervisor at Milledgeville FUMC. She has served as financial manager since August, 1996 and Building Supervisor since May 2003.
Cay attended Albany Jr. College in Albany, GA and Georgia College in MIlledgeville, GA. She began her career in banking in 1968. She was Asst. Vice President & Branch Manager of First Federal Savings & Loan, where she worked for 14 1/2 years. She was Asst. Vice President & Branch Manager at Exchange Bank, where she worked for 8 years and retired in March, 1996. She graduated from the Georgia Banking School in 1994.
Cay has been involved in volunteer organizations where she served as Vice President and President of the American Heart Association, United Way Board Member, March of Dimes Fundraiser Coordinator, Toastmaster's International member and Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. She was a finalist for Citizen of the Year in 1992. She served on the Oconee Regional Medical Center board for 14 1/2 years, of which she was chair for the last 4 years. She served on the Oconee Regional Medical Center finance Committee and Quality Committee. She is currently the chair of the Oconee Regional Hospital Authority. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and charter member of Leadership Baldwin Alumni. Cay has been a member of Milledgeville FUMC since 1992.
She has taught Sunday School for various age groups. She is a member of the Seekers Sunday school class. Cay has taken all of the Disciple and Covenant courses. Cay's son, Jarrod Bath, has 3 children, Caleb, Courtney, and Mason. She also has 2 other grandchildren, Dylan and Sydney, from her deceased son, Jeremi. She has 5 great grandchildren. Cay was married to the late Larry Quattlebaum. She is currently married to John Farmer. Cay spends her spare time baking, shopping, and traveling.
Steve was born in Albuquerque New Mexico the son of an Air Force Sergeant and attended 11 schools in New Mexico, California, Arkansas, and Tennessee before graduating from Warner Robins High School. He graduated from Shorter College with his BCM degree and later earned his Master's in Education. Steve began his full time church ministry in North Georgia after graduation and stayed in church work for 15 years and then taught high school for 21 years but still continued in church music ministry. He loves the arts in all forms and tries to experience all of them.
Steve's groups have performed around the east coast from New York to Orlando and have received numerous awards. He won the Shining Star Award from the Jackson Chamber of Commerce in 2014 but feels his greatest honor is being married to Valerie. She is his greatest supporter and a huge part of his ministry. God has blessed them with so many wonderful experiences and they feel there will be many more while serving at FUMC.
They are blessed with three daughters, two sons, a son in law, a daughter in law, and four grandsons. God is good.
Shannon M. Bentley is a native of Milledgeville, and the daughter of Stan and Janet Mauldin. She has been married to Jay (Director of Communications at GMC) for 20 years and they have four children: Hannah (16), Hayden (13), Camden (11), and Madi (9).
Shannon is a graduate of Georgia College with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. She previously worked as the Director of Social Services at the Georgia War Veterans Home and was a Proram Coordinator at Georgia College. Later, she was blessed to be able to be at home with her children while they were young, which was very important to her. She had volunteered at the local pregnancy center, counseling women in crisis situations and sharing the gospel. She has also volunteered in various capacities within the church.
For the past several years, Shannon has taught Pre-K and second grade students at Sinclair Christian Academy in Milledgeville, She enjoys working with children, spending time with family and friend, reading, and interior design.
Audrey Layne Crocker is a proud and happy new member to the staff here at FUMC. She joined the staff as the Youth Director this past September and has had a blast getting to know the students this fall. Previously, Audrey has worked professionally as an actor, singer, and dancer in theatres all over the country. She has also worked as a theatre teacher, choreographer, and director to students of all ages, and delights in using her theatre skills to bring new ways of teaching to this ministry. Involved heavily in ministry growing up, she has a passion for providing a place of learning and growth that is safe for all questions and struggles. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shorter College (Rome, GA) and has worked in ministries from her home church to her New York church home, and interned at the Gathering Place in St. Simon's Island, GA.
She is the daughter of Steve Crocker (FUMC Minister of Music) and Valerie Crocker (FUMC member) as well as the proud aunt of four amazing boys and one precious little girl. She is happy to be in Milledgeville building community with her family and church alike.
After spending the last 18 years of their lives in Pine Mountain, GA, Karen and her husband Derek moved to Milledgeville in 2015. They have three daughters, Maggie, Betsy, and Molly, all of whom have graduated college and are living and working in Atlanta and Forston, GA.
Karen has a passion for children and has been involved with preschool ministries over the past 25 years. Before moving to Milledgeville, she most recently served as Director of Noah's Ark Child Enrichment Center at FUMC Pine Mountain since 2000. Karen believes so strongly in church preschool ministry because it helps children grow confident and learn to socialize while also providing an avenue to welcome program families into a loving church environment.
Karen graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Interiors and Furnishing. She and Derek enjoy being active in the Milledgeville community and watching sunsets on Lake Sinclair.
Tom Davidson has been our Organist from1980-90 and 1995-present. In April of 2000 he also became interim Adult Choir Director, and he holds a bachelor's degree in Church Music. In "real life" Tom is a dentist. He enjoys gardening and is a self-described exercise nut. Enthusiastic collectors of antiques, Tom and his wife Mary Elizabeth keep up-to-date in the company of their three grandchildren.
